Message from the Dean

The vision of our school is to become an internationally comprehensive university with medicine and smart technology as the core, featuring interdisciplinary innovation and industry-academic service capabilities. The promotion of "Smart Technology" is led by our college. As a leader in developing smart technology at the university, our college not only cultivates students with professional skills in fields such as electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, information management, and communications but also develops smart technologies including ABCDE (artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, big data, edge computing). The main axes of development include smart healthcare, intelligent industry, and intelligent interaction. It is expected that students entering our college at I-Shou University will graduate with knowledge of artificial intelligence so that they can have professional capabilities to cope with the challenges of the future world of artificial intelligence.

Furthermore, when students enter our college to study, besides improving their knowledge, the guidance and care provided by teachers in the college can also reassure parents. Currently, various departments in the college provide many remedial teaching measures, such as "teaching assistants," "study groups," and "tutoring." These after-school tutoring sessions are conducted by graduate students or senior students after class, with teachers assisting and guiding them. According to students who have participated, these measures have been very effective, and students' grades have improved significantly.

According to the current job market in Taiwan, graduates from our College are guaranteed employment. The job market has a strong demand for talents with knowledge and professional capabilities in related fields. Students have many job opportunities, and the starting salaries are generally high. I welcome young high school students to join our college. For students who are currently studying, I also hope that everyone will seize the time to study the knowledge provided by various departments and courses, and after graduation, they will definitely be able to create their own lives and careers. In addition, the current industry has a high demand for master's degrees in the field of information. A master's degree not only provides more job opportunities and better treatment in the workplace but also more opportunities for promotion. Graduates of our college have performed excellently in the workplace. Our alumni often return to share their experiences in studying and employment. I strongly encourage students to continue their studies and apply to the master's program in our college.
